If you use Google sign-in, we receive your name, email address, and profile image so we can create and maintain your account.

2. Jurisdiction selections and preferences

We store the jurisdictions you select so your feed stays relevant. If you are signed out, this is stored in your browser. If you are signed in, this can also be saved to your account.

3. Location data (optional)

We only use your location if you tap Use my location. It is used to suggest nearby jurisdictions and county context.

4. Technical data

Like most websites, we collect basic technical data such as browser type, device info, request logs, and security/session data needed to keep the service running.

How we use data

• Show local meetings and local-buzz content for your selected jurisdictions.
• Save your preferences across sessions and devices (when signed in).
• Secure accounts, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot reliability issues.
• Improve feature quality and performance.

When data is shared

We share data only when needed to provide core functionality, for example:

• Google OAuth for sign-in.
• Public data sources used to fetch meeting and local news content.

• You can update saved choices from Preferences.
